A Woosh bang
The Honda's battery is about on it's last legs so I called up Honda to see if it was covered by the warranty.. (fat chance) I knew what the answer would be, but thought it worth asking ...

As expected ..

Sorry Sir, the battery is a consumable and not covered .. but as you bought the car from us we can supply a Honda one at a special price of £82 with two year warranty.. fitted free ... I said thanks, but no thanks..

Went on line and did some research and eventually settled on this supplier ..

They can supply a Varta for £56.96 , including carriage and next day delivery ..

Before ordering I double checked the Varta site and it is the correct battery for my car and has a four year warranty ..

Has anyone else used this company ?

Hi Jim

Don't know the company but nothing wrong with Varta Batteries.

Hope this helps a bit Rick.
