Your explanation is confusing and patchy but pic shows the coax connected to an F plug which is for Satellite.
The hole below is for terrestrial (freeview through an aerial) reception.

Have you altered the connections to the aerial there could be a power supply to a masthead amplifier from either a separate power supply or one of the TV's which is now not connected

There is only a Satellite connection and no separate freeview aerial.

I didn’t actually touch that aerial it’s a screw into the wall

Not changed anything at the aerial. But wondered if I had knocked it when sorting out the wires from old router to new one But as far as i know I didn’t.

The aerial is connected to next doors rear wall and the other TVs in the house are all connected to one tv thing in the roof space

Some TVs working - those not connected to internet but ones which are are not

The kitchen one I played with before getting dinner as that isn’t connected to the net. If I played with its aerial connections the picture/sound came and went.

Sounds like a loose connection you might have knocked when you altered the router you might need to phone a friend!!!!!

Try plugging the white Tee box into the hole above the black cable.
That hole is for TV and the one it's in now is a link to take it to another room, possibly upstairs.

Your explanation is too confusing.
You say you have never had sky, only freeview....
Freeview is ordinary TV through a rooftop aerial from a transmitter mast.

Now you say there is no roof top aerial. o_O

The only aerial is a huge SKY one out the back which serves 4 houses

That connection was installed by the guy who had fitted the system when houses were built.

As we only had freeview human boxes we couldn’t connect tv or them at all. That’s why he fitted that. It’s not been touched in 5 years

A small update:

I’m more confused than ever

Decided to put TV as source but it doesn’t work like that. So I used Smart Hub and went into IPlayer. It worked on live tv with that

Pappajohn. Thank you. It’s taken me ages to work out what you meant after watching Eastenders and Corrie on my iPad

You are correct. I hadn’t noticed the hole. I’d tried to connect to the other screw thing on top and the lead sticking out - whatever that is

Cheers. I’ll owe you a drink when we meet. But with my memory please remind me. It’s gett that bad

Carol

The cable going to the screw plug top right may go off somewhere else in the house as its marked RETURN but can be used for any TV cable.......it may go to a bedroom etc.
Try leaving that connected as well as the bit you just reconnected... As it was in your picture

I think it's too late to edit the header but I wouldn't bother, anyone reading the thread will see it's sorted.

Just to add my two penny worth.

Is the new router a sky box that you have connected the aerial to?

If so there is usually a setting that allows the rf signal to pass through the box to the TV this needs to to be set to allow it.

I may be completely wrong but it is worth a try.

Good luck
