As many of you know we have owned our fith wheel for nearly two years and our future plan was to sell our business and live fulltime in her. We ran our business from our home and decided to move it into an industrial unit and prepare it to put it on the market. We found a unit at a good price before our busy show season and in theory, we should have moved in by the beginning of May, but to cut a long story short we have now moved all of the business and the office to the unit. The plan was to have the business in the unit and we move into the fifth wheel full time. The house we run the business from was rented, so we gave our notice but then the task of getting rid of all our possessions loomed. We only had a month to move everything.

You may have noticed that we have not been very active on here for the past month, now you know the reason why.

Once we had moved all the business and was fully operational, we then went through our personal possessions thinking it was going to be a wrench, but we found it easier than expected, probably as we had been planning this move for the last eighteen months and we think we had already decided mentally what we were keeping and getting rid of. We had an open house over a weekend and got rid of most things, the bits left went to charity.

We have been in our fifth wheel now for 12 days, but in that time we also had to prepare for the show at Manby, which we did this weekend. We still haven't moved in all of the things we have decided to keep, they are in boxes in the Dodge. They need sorting carefully, and hopefully we can get everything in. What doesn't fit, has to go, or they can go into the Truck Camper we are picking up this weekend.

AT LAST WE FEEL WE ARE AT HOME AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FUTURE.

Hi Guys, glad to see you back, How was the Landrover Show, I am really missing mine:Sad: :BigGrin:

Good to see you back.

We have just downsized house to a 4 bedroom semi and got rid of loads of stuff and still have a shed full and 2 spare room full:Doh:

Thanks, and glad to be back. It's nice to be able to find a few minutes to keep in touch. It will be good to get back to some sort of normality. Unfortunately, we are going to be really busy getting ready for the biggest Land Rover Show in the World, being held at Billing Aquadrome on the weekend of 18th - 20th July. Once that is over we should be able to have a bit of a breather.

The Manby Show went better than expected. This is only the second year but already grown double. Only saw one RV, it's the guy selling the Biomagic, but we saw two fifth wheels, unfortunately, too busy to speak to them. Wondered if one was a member of this forum, Nigel did get to knock on the door of one, but no one was in.

Hi John
if you ever intend to fulltime you have to work out what you REALLY NEED, and remember that when you have gone, those left behind will skip 99.9% of what you leave:cry:
