There is http://www.amsterdamcitycamp.nl if you want to stay close to Amsterdam it's 10 minutes walk to the free ferry that runs over to the central station which gets you straight into the centre of the city.

I think that you need at least one but we have two warning triangles, fluorescent vest for as many people as you have in the vehicle, spare bulbs, vehicle documents.

Most people also seem to have a Rolex and at least £2000(y) (cheapskates)

Martin

EDIT just reread and whatever you have for France should be OK in Netherlands, in April the Keukenhof flowers/bulbs would be worth a visit, Gouda is nice and a stopping place is just a couple of hundred metres from the town centre.

Nice family run site Abenes for Keukenhof GPS N52,22630 E4,61911 Hoeve't Groene Hart Kaavweg 50 Camperstop Europe. Also if you have cycles camp near Edam and ride around the causeway to Marken and catch the passenger ferry back to Monikadam. Easy ride for all ages.

Sorry that ferry is Marken to Volendam got my dams muddled. Another first night stop that might be OK is Etten-Leur yacht haven, just into Holland.
