We are travelling to France early May next and are trying to decide on touring the Mosel/Rhine area of Germany or heading for South East France. We are out for over 4 weeks and would welcome any suggestions eg weather etc. We have been in the Narbonne area before for a few days a few years ago.

Thanking you in advance.

Must do the Mosel. The vineyards, the river & the quaint villages are not to be missed.

Stellaplatz are in almost every village overlooking the river Mosel :thumb:

It will be busy, we went at the end of April 2 years ago & that was busy.

This photo is Berncastle an unimaginable fairy tale town

Drive into Luxembourg and pick up the ferry or cross the bridge/Border into Germany. A very pretty drive along the Mosel. A lot of Campsites en-route. Keep along the Mosel river and pick up the signs for TRIER. It is the oldest town in Germany. Worth a visit. Not sure regards camping in this area as it is 25 years since I lived there. I used to live in a village called Wasserbillig, along the Mosel river. You must pass it heading for Trier.
