Can anyone advise me on the hot water supply?
We purchase our first 750 (2012) early this year,we noticed we had enough hot water for both of us to take showers, our current 750 which is a (2013 model) there only seems to enough hot water for one quick shower before it goes cold.Bearing in mind its a 2013 it should be just as efficient ,if not more.

Hello and welcome.

It would help it you said what heater I assume a Truma Combi C6.I f you run the water at 60 deg should be fine but at 40 the thermostat does not cut back in until water drops to 27 deg, in the latest versions they have renamed the 40 setting ECO instead of fixing the problem. On the older heater you could get 2 showers on the 40 setting, not any more.

2012 and 2013 Combined should be the same, has the newer Hobby got a more powerful water pump and the boss is using too much water.
Could still be a faulty thermostat is the hysterisis is too large and it is not cutting back in soon enough when the water cools.

The pump seems to be the same.I'm not to well up on the hysterisis being to large. We were told the hot water tank holds 20 litres of hot water when heated.Using the full amount it would refill and take about 15 minutes to get up the temperature again for use. This is what we experience on our 2012 model. But with our current model we feel were getting the temperature but only about 10 litres of hot water before going cold.

Thanks for your advise Lenny, looking back into the workings on the hysterisis and a possibility of you saying it could be to large, could this be letting to much cold water through on refill as your using your hot water?
