Looking for pros and cons on new models over the last couple of years.

Would you buy another, if no what would you buy and for what reason.

We Have a 2014 Hobby Siesta v65ge and are very pleased with it.Well used 3x2 month plus lots of shorter trips
Few problems in the first year all sort by supplying dealer.2nd year hab check done with no issues.
Build quality probably not as good as earlier models but still better than most.nice little touches , heating pipes run through the floor so it's like underfloor heating in places.blow air pipe around waste tank and the radio can be operated from the control panel.
Yes we would buy another.

I had a 2010 registered Hobby Sphinx might have been built 2008 or 2009 on a Iveco, build quality was just brilliant and so well made inside with proper wood built like a battle ship, they went through a bad time time in 2012/2013 with poor material, design and build especially on what they called the premium range, I was told that the side of the company that builds the caravans got involved again to improve everything which I think they have

We've got the oldest X244 Hobby in the world.
This pre 2006 'van was first Reg. in Sept 2007.

Would I buy another. In a heartbeat. Compared to the wobble box caravans we've had, this van is built of Titanium. Bonus for us is the 2.8 Fiat lump. It's taken us up hills in fourth gear that defy logic.

We bought our 1999 Hobby 750FMS when it was 3 years old and have struggled to find anything we would change it for. The new vans are no where near as solid .

Only have experience of 2012 plate Toskana 750 - what became referred to as the 'Classic' range, still with the curved sides. Basically a very sound van despite a few teething problems. Good insulation and double floor makes for a very comfortable van. Very nice to drive too, with the 3 litre engine and Comfortmatic gear box. Layout second to none IMO. After 2012 they stopped making the tag axles, and brought out what I think of as the 'Gangster Van' range. Not to my taste at all but each to their own ...... :)

We have a 2010 Hobby Siesta 650 now up to 70k miles. No real probs very pleased with the build quality. Don't like the look of the newer ones. When we change probably next year we will be looking for a van with twin beds and garage favourite at present is a Hymer 588 CL .

But as they say on websites "yes I would recommend a Hobby".

We have been pleased with our Hobby Siesta 650 Exclusive except for the lack of payload. Looked in some new ones about 3 years ago and they didn't look as well made inside as our old one, but after saying that we would buy another one.

Ours is a Hobby Van six metres with transverse bed so large garage. Love it . 2011 reg and apart from the front window replacement (hobby recall) we wouldn't change it yet.

We are on our third motorhome and just took delivery of a new Optima de luxe T70 ge, three months ago and very pleased so far.
Single beds over garage and well screwed together. We like the gps floor under the van.
Like all things "time will tell" but feeling confident.
