Good Afternoon Funsters,
having done the fun bit in buying my motorhome, do any funsters have any insurance company recommendations?? Many Thanks in advance Tim

Caravan club did it for me this year but if you look in left hand side of front page there's a ins bit recommending lots of different co's -- ask for whoever you go with to MIRROR your NCB :thumb::thumb:

Insured our new one with Caravan Guard.

Our old M/H was covered by Adrian Flux who declined to cover our new one as it was "too valuable". To add insult, they wanted to charge us an admin fee for cancelling the policy even though it was they who were ducking out. I "talked them round" out of the fee

Think they make it up as they go along. When I researched this vehicle quotes were around 220/250, now Ive got shot right up, so looking for as many quotes as possible!!!!!

Got my Hobby insured with Comfort, cheapest when I initially insured it 3 years ago and just small increases since then so have not looked to save a couple of pounds since then

Thank you everyone for your replies, it seems comfort are very popular will try them. Motorhome agent said he would bring van down for a driveway check today, unfortunately I am at work, but needless to say it fits, only two broken windows, a dent in the side an a awning hook sheared off!!! If you wondered what Nigel Mansell is doing now he checks to see if your motorhome will fit in your drive!! :Angry:

I used Camping and Caravanning club, of course you have to be a member, but they also do a good deal on breakdown insurance.

Merc0385 Unfortunately it is not a joke, Dealership turned up with van then proceeded to damage it!!! Sad thing is it fitted on drive no problem, just driven by a numpty!!! Many thanks to everyone who came back with Comfort, they were the cheapest so thanks again.

I hope they are going to repair it then knock something off the price. You are now buying a damaged / repaired vehicle! riving2:

They have been very good about it, as they should, a few things that were not included in original purchase are now included!!!
