Hi Jeff

We have done Newcastle Amsterdam (Ijmuden) and Hull Rotterdam/Zeebrugge, I thought the Newcastle crossing was OK especially as they had lots of seafood in the restaurant, pickled herrings as many ways as you could imagine, Mrs wasn't as keen as she isn't the best on boats and said "it bobbed about like a cork" which I thought slightly unfair but for sure its not as big and as well stabilised as the P&O Hull ferries are.

Hi

Use the Newcastle one fairly regularly
Cabins ok the upgraded ones are far better
It saves us a long drive
As long as you are expecting a car ferry and not a cruse ship.
Easy exit out from port to motorway
You need to book well in advance to get a decent price (its never a cheep option)
