Hi all

New to motorhoming and just saying hello to everyone.
Bought my first camper in November, a WildAx Constelation.
Hard at it now booking in weekends away etc and sorting out Italian trip for September, never been by road before so it should be fun.
First outing was over the New Year in Somerset near Frome, a bit cold through the night, (the water froze). It brought back memories of when I used to rally all year round with a caravan.
Already finding it a lot easier with a camper, no mucking about with jocky wheels, unhooking, putting legs down etc. I should have done this earlier.

TTFN,
All the best for 2010.

Hi wildbilly

WELCOME to MH Fun :welcomefunster:

Good to have you along, don't forget what you leaned as a tugger most still applies, but must agree its hard work compared to motorhome.

Good luck in your travels.

Another one with The Right Stuff. Buy---GO. Excellent.

But as the song goes - Ye tak the high road and I'll tak the low road and I'll be in Italy afore ye. Loads of us heading that way, we'll do the decent thing and leave a bit for you.

Was that by any chance at Lower Grange Farm, Feltham Nr. Frome?

We have stayed there twice and both times the water froze. Nice place, though, well laid out and very peaceful. Convenient for our son's place as well.

A lot of people say that. ::bigsmile:

Enjoy it all.

Hello and welcome
I'm also new to this site.

So envious of your forthcoming Italian trip!
They take their motorhome travel as seriously as they do football and Opera

Hi and welcome, you'll get loads of advice on here. Theres something about fish tank heaters for frozen water tanks somewhere !!
Were new too having changed over from caravans back end of December.
Our first trip was out over the new year on a week long rally too.
We found it a lot easier, and warmer. Being fully winterized now.
We've always rallied all year round , and hope to carry on.
The kids liked the fact that the water tank on the MH holds 3 aqua rolls too. They had less work to do!
Got a bit fed up of the other rally members asking " what if you run out of bread or milk ?" "why did you sell the caravan?" though, being the only MH there.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies.
We stayed at The Bell In at Buckland Dinham for New year. The Landlord, Jeremy is a nice bloke and welcomes anyone to his Pub. Gravel out the back with a field available during the better weather.
