Time to introduce ourselves.
I'm Dave and she who makes the decisions is Pat.
We'd both had caravans in the distant past and both fancied a motorhome. Hired one in early May and loved every moment - well maybe not the one when the hailstones were landing on the roof in the early hours of the morning!
Came home and decided to take the plunge.
Toured the dealers, joined this forum and read everything, decided what we were looking for and looked at the dealers again. Thought about what we saw and decided that being recycled teenagers an overcab bed was not the best idea so settled for a fixed bed model and collected a Roller Team Atessa 694 last week. Went to Jedburgh last weekend and off to the Lakes tomorrow after the dealer has fixed some of the urgent issues.
I've retired, Pat has her notice in so we are out to prove the salesman, who said the average mileage is 5000 per year, wrong as we are going to be like some of you on here who aim to make that average higher.
