I have been into caravans for over 20yrs but this year in May my Hobby was stolen and the police confirmed by gypsys for a wedding in Worcester. So I thought try a camper van.... but I fell in love with a Hobby motorhome and against better judgement .its now on my drive. I am planning on fitting a towbar but the Ducato chasis has a 1m extention and so I shall have to fabricate something. Any advice welcome.
    Thank you
    Jurek

Hi, hard to say without looking really, it depends how those extensions are bolted on. Some are very securely bolted with at least half a dozen bolts each side. Some towbars I've seen fitted to such extensions have an extra stiffener fitted between the two. Maybe if you posted a photo someone would give good advice.

    Meanwhile, welcome to the Fun:thumb:
