I am a complete newbie to the motorhome scene and have joined, what appears to be a fantastic forum, to gain valuable advice and guidance.

My wife and I have 'talked' about getting a motorhome for many years now and have decided, since the birth of our two youngest children, to take the plunge.

We live in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, Orkney, and feel we are in a prime location to explore the highlands and islands of Scotland.

We are now currently trawling the internet looking for a bargain either for now or later in the year with a view to gearing up for next summer.

Very narrowly avoided a motorhome scam on Ebay today, so am feeling a little cautious to say the least!!

It's a bit of a fright when you get caught up in these things Baycott... You hear about them on TV,etc. but never think you'll fall for it. But it's like the old saying, 'if something looks to good to be true, then it probably is...'
