Olley took the plunge and I think I speak for all the Mac aficionados on the forum when I wish him, or rather his daughter, well with it!! Its a great spec system Olley and the extras were added value!!

This spec cost well over £2000 new not to mention the fact that you have original Leopard upgrade discs included and other bits and bobs!!

Well done Olley :thumb: that's a great machine, same spec as mine.. except I upgraded to 2Gb
A word of warning, tell here to be careful with the screen, I cracked mine when it was only 2 months old.. new screen from Apple is £700 :Eeek: Fortunately the house insurance covered it.. ::bigsmile:

but I do foresee one problem..

Once you try it you'll want one too.... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

hi guys, quiet, if the pc appreciation society finds out I will be in trouble.::bigsmile:

Just had a look at CS3 £135 plus £60 for the 1gig ram that's added another £200 quid to the price:cry: but should make her happy.

Wife's just had a ring delivered from Ideal World so shes happy.

And me? Just paid the quarterly Vat

Have you ordered yours yet ? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I had a look at eBay, some terrific deals on Power Books, anyone who is contemplating a Mac should give them serious consideration, personally I prefer them to the new Intel Macs..

They are also the ONLY mac to have the PCMCIA slot, buy her an unlocked quad band data card, 30 quid off ebay, a £1 a day Tmobile sim and she's all set for surfing..
