We are planning to sell our house and go traveling for a few months. :thumb:
I have found a 30 footer on ebay and am v. interested as it has a 'garage' where we could store bicycles and a PA system (we are pub musicians).

Here are the basics, I wonder if anyone could advise - would we be fools to buy this vehicle, or might we be onto a winner?
Thanks anyone! Rose

Big decision to sell your house but a warm welcome to FUN and wish you all the best.
Let us know what you decide.
Do beware of scams, especially recently on Ebay. Check that the seller has good feed back etc.
We have a large garage on ours and wouldn't be without it now.

Hi Rose and Arthur.

Your initial concerns is to ensure you are buying from the owner! Then that it's the precise layout you require. The layout is THE NO 1 reason for most who change motorhomes, so getting it right first time can save you a lot of money. Next thing to worry about is damp, look (and smell) for it, buying a damp motorhome can be a costly mistake. They are the biggies, but there is much more.

There's not much you can take for granted when buying a motorhome so do be careful. There is so much to consider; I wrote a book about it. Link Removed

This forum is a great place to ask questions, don't be shy, just ask away. There is a lot of experience here from buyers and dealers. Best of luck:thumb: And welcome to the fun::bigsmile:
