We had a eura mobil and the little memory backup battery leaked on the back of the control panel that caused the problem, this was probably 2011 we was just about to head off to Spain, so visited the factory in Germany and got one, I seem to remember that although its CBE eura mobil fiddled with them so not a straight swap, Don Amott could have got me one at the time but said two or three weeks and that was before Brexit, but worth contacting them. 🙂 Bob.

Does it look like this one, maybe ask CBE if it will fit.

Think that’s a later one

The Euramobil pre 2005 is a totally different animal to the later models, they now belong to Trigano. A photo would definitely help but probably is CBE.

Why are you condemning the control unit? Is it 12 volt or mains that isnt working?

Has it worked in your ownership?

Have you checked batteries and fuses?

Is there an isolator? Our has CBE electrics from the same year and we have a 12 volt isolator switch by the door.

Motorhome manufacturers don't make their own electrics distribution boxes, they buy them in from a number of specialist manufacturers. So your box will be the same as or very similar to boxes in other brands of motorhome. Can you post a picture of the distribution box, and maybe the control panel too? Someone will recognise it. As has been said, probably CBE or NordElettronica.

There are repair specialists who will repair a broken box, and will also probably sell you an exchange replacement. But I think it's unlikely that the distribution box has 'broken', unless it's physically damaged, or someone's spilt a beer over it (been there, done that :oops:o_O).

It's much more likely that a switch is set wrong, a fuse has blown, a bad connection has worked loose, or the wiring is damaged (mice, for example). What are the symptoms?

I have had the same problem with my 810, the little battery on the back of the board seems to have leaked onto the board and has stopped the contacts from functioning properly. {Hard to see with the naked eye}. I'm currently trying to have the board fixed but as yet no results. I was told that if you send it off to Italy it takes over 6 months and a whole lot of money to fix.

If the battery has leaked, then with the unit disconnected, try washing the connections with a cotton bud and a mixture of baking powder and water. Then polish the battery connections with a fine Emery board. Then give it a good clean in isopropyl (take great care around naked flames and with ventilation.) Try a new battery and it will often work. If it's burned away part of the track on the PCB, and you know how to solder, bridge the gaps with bits of stripped mains cable.
