Can anyone suggest what product to use to get dirty marks off motorhome ceiling?

What is the material on the ceiling? Is it a cloth or a vinyl type, or God forbid, a painted reproduction of the the Sistine Chapel!

VERY pertinent! Using the ‘wrong’ product could be, how do we say?, damaging......

Sue I don't know but mine is a kind of vinyl type... Someone.. Supposedly to help and who should have k own better .. wiped some marks with a damp cloth with washing up liquid on it. DON'T USE THAT!

It left a right mess and stain three times worse. I have now used some patterned duct tape in a stretch along where the mark is (difficult to describe and I'm not at van to photo) and it looks better than the mark.

Isopropyl Alcohol may work, can get it from chemists .
