Hi! I'm Sue from Windsor and looking into purchasing a motor home for family use. Does anyone reccommend any lightweight models as my grown up adult children would be using this with their families but can only drive up to 3,500kg.

Secondly, I am having many problems with insurance. My problem is trying to get more than 4 people insured to drive the same vehicle. Up to 4 people seems very possible, but i can not find a company that will insure more than 4. They say it would need to be a trade policy costing thousands. I need 6 people insured, all family members. Does anybody know a way around this?

I have looked to insure on temporary cover for those that I cant insure but they are super expensive.

Most motorhomes are under 3.5 tons so you should not have too much trouble finding what you want.
My best advice would be to find a trustworthy dealer, that is not too far from home. A good dealer may be able to answer most questions and can be worth their weight in gold should anything require after sales service.
