Recently joined to get the discount from Vanbitz and have only just worked out how to post!
We (Chris and Mike) have been motor caravanning and now motor homing for over 35 years. We started with a VW Holdsworth conversion and worked our way up to an Autosleepers Nuevo that we have had for almost 9 years. In the early years, it was holidays and weekends in the UK and an annual trip to France with the kids but since the 'children' have left home we have travelled to many countries in W Europe.
We are very keen windsurfers and bikers and they are taken to wherever we go where there is a suitable coastline or lake.
I am already retired and Chris retires in two days time so we are planning some longer trips. The first will be February and March to Southern Spain - we have heard the campsite at La Manga in Murcia is very good for winter sunshine and windsurfing so that is where we hope to end up but we like to be flexible and stay in a location while we are enjoying ourselves and move on when we have had enough. We plan to use the new LD Poole to Santander Ferry as it is so convenient for us but they have delayed the start of 2014 booking until Friday which is frustrating.
If anyone knows about good sites for windsurfing and/or biking in Valencia and Murcia, I would love some more first hand information,
