Have spent some months researching and so far the only thing I am certain of is there is toooo much to choose, I like a different one everyday!

So, so far the going is fair to complicated at the minute. But hey its a com'in... I can feel it in me water pump! Patience I know. Hope you all don't mind a few questions from time to time if thats ok.

:welc: you might want to make a list of your priorities to help you cut down on the choices!

Layout
Number of berths
Number of travel seats
Payload
Layout, oh and
Layout

You need to imagine being in the van for a long rainy day - how would you feel?
Check the size of the bed and how you will get in and out
Is it a fixed bed or will you have to make it up every night?
Is the loo big enough for you to actually use?
Are there changes in floor level inside the van and are you likely to fall up or down them?

Just a few thoughts....

Looking is FUN!!!!

Hi and welcome. It took us 18 months to find the right van but we have had it six years now. Research as much as you can and try and get it right first time. Good luck. (y)

Thanks for the welcome everyone, is very nice.

Thank you Puddleduck i am thinking the dinette and U shaped lounge is a definate and if i can find one with that layout it will be the Bessacarr. Don't fancy the fixed bed as we want to wake up with that fantastic view you get from the lounge area.
But hey there is no rush i can wait till the weekend!!:)

And yes Grasscutter i agree i would very much like to get it right the first time for sure as this is pretty much a one off so yeah patience is the key i guess.

Well thank you for your speedy response it is very much appreciated. I have had a wander round this site and from what i have seen so far it looks great. Me thinks its going to be fun being a Funster.

So i will speak to you soon fellow funsters many fanx...er i mean thanks.
Plexi.

Oh, and we bought our (first ) motorhome on impulse and without research, and it's worked out brilliantly so far...

I didn't understand payload and how important it is, luckily we've got a van with a reasonable payload cos we are not minimalists!
