G'day
Been motorhoming in Oz for about 20 years, always in 4WDs.
Have a DIY fully self contained OKA that I built 8 years ago (the one in the avatar).
We have just returned from Europe after 6 months exploring in a 4WD Iveco 40-10W.
We plan to return for 6 months each year for the next 2 years.
This year we had 10 weeks in Turkey and then returned to Germany via the Balkans.
Next year we are planning 3 months in the UK and Ireland and 3 months in France and Spain.

Anyone looking for advise about touring Oz, we can probably assist (or at least offer an opinion )

Hello there , welcome. We've had 3 weeks in Adelaide about 5 years ago now . We also visited the surrounding area , Victoria , Handhorf , all over the shop ! We hired a Motorhome to do a big reccie. With view to emigrating as we'd got a visa , but never made the jump. :thumb:

Lived and worked in Australia for a year. Toured the Kimberley region. Fell in love with the place and we WILL return to see more.

Thanks for the welcome folks...
Bellini, we have spent several months in the Kimberley on several occasions.
It is a unique and stunning area, but probably the hardest part of Australia to see in any detail.

I chickened out and rented a Pajero. That took some hammering!

But the scenery and the memories will stay with us forever and we'd all go back there tomorrow. One day, we will.
