Hi everybody. We don,t have a motorhome just yet but have had a campervan for a while and are in the process of buying a motorhome for the 2 of us. Our intention is to travel from our home in Mijas and tour Spain, France, Netherlands, Germany and Italy. I have one question. when we buy it will almost certainly be a Spanish vehicle with a suitable 12 months ITV. Any ideas on what happens if we are in another country as the ITV/MOT is about to expire? Do we have to troop all the way back to Spain for another ITV/MOT test or is there an EU solution.
I know with our UK registered Camper we had to go back to UK for an MOT test each year, which is one reason we sold it after we moved here.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Regards
Frank

Yes.
Admittedly though you can use any ITV station so if in France you'd just have to find the first one over the border

Pretty well sure you'll need to get it done in Spain if itsi on Spanish plates. You'll get a notification when it is due, and you can book into the closest ITV station either by scanning the QR code on the reminder oro online at https://www.itvcita.com/Welcome.do
