Hi fellow peeps from not so sunny Essex (1 Viewer)

Hi, we've been camping, with tents, for some time now, but we're both getting older. My best mate in Germany has a Mercedes Hymer, and has had it for some time now, when we visit him we quite often go away for a few days here and there.

We've recently arrived home from the Isle of Wight, camping with the tent, and we realized the benefits of a Motorhome, so we brought one.

There were several boxes I wanted to tick concerning a purchase;
1/ Mercedes
2/ Hymer
3/ Right hand drive
4/ Permanent bedroom in the rear
5/ Obviously shower/toilet facilities
6/ Oven
7/ Preferably with solar charging

I found one, the one we now have, in Coventry (UK), viewed it and liked it straight away, the owner had to sort out the air-con prior to us collecting it.

Driving it home a couple of problems became apparent, brakes and steering (not major) any way its in the local Mercedes workshop as I type, should be out later today.

We then need to "load" it up with provisions as we are booked into an "Away Resorts" site in Lincolnshire for next week.

I'll keep you all informed as to the camp site, as it may be handy for some of you to use.
