Hi fellow Hymer fixers

My 1990 Hymer has started to release fumes into the living area, has anyone any ideas?

What sort of fumes, when driving or when parked up, if it smells of rotten eggs remove any hook up charging source and ventilate the area.

The fumes seem to be black as if it's burning plastic. i only use gas when parked up.

Fair point could well be right, OP should see some black sooty marks on the outside of the van around the top fridge vent and should be able to detect the same smell outside.

I've never quite got to grips with fridge repairs, soot marks on the outside were the clue for me (and a bugger to clean off) although the fridge was still working!
The local mobile caravan engineer was able to sort within a couple of hours and it didn't cost a great deal, so hopefully a simple fix for topgun
