we are newbies
Just recently new to motor homing and discovered this website and decided to subscribe cos it looks good. Me and Nige have been caravanning for several years but our two kids are old enough and ugly enough to be left home alone so we decided to trade our lovely Bailey Senator California in for a second hand Auto Trail Arapaho tag axle! Cant wait to tour abroad and get some info on what to expect etc. Have we done the right thing?

Hi there and welcome to fun and dont worry about bringing your ugly kids along they will fit in well with the rest :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: hope my daughter doesnt read this :ROFLMAO:

Like you we had caravan in the past as well as tents and folding camper and would never go back had the motorhome over 4 years now and thinking of upgrading it, it might take a bit of getting used to but once youve settled to it you will love it.

Hi

We too changed from caravanning for 20 years to the MH last year - loving it. We went to France 4 times last year and are already planning our 1st trip this year. We have carried on rallying locally as well. No regrets at all.

Hope you enjoy yours as much

Hi & Welcome from down south (I.o.W.) Yes you have made the right decision, you might find it a bit more compact but it won't take long to adjust and when you have you certainly wont think of changing back.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the lovely welcome. Also pleased we seem to have invested in a good MH that will hopefully keep us very happy in the years to come. ::bigsmile:
