Have been motor-homing for a few years but have only just signed up to MHF.
The Avondale Seascape in the avatar was our first van and we have loved every moment we have spent in it for the past 4 1/2 years. We bought it to see if we liked the lifestyle and have never looked back.
We are very sad to see it go but we have just traded it in for a new Pilote [P650C] which we will take delivery of in April. The dealer has taken our lovely Avondale already, we got a better Trade In that way, so currently we our without our van on the drive. Feeling quite bereft and not sure how we are going to make it through the winter.
Have been browsing through some of the MHF threads and it is clear we have been missing out on a great resource the last few years.

We can't wait to get back on the road again next year in our new van.

Hi and welcome, the wait for the new van will be horrendous. I've been waiting on mine since July and delivery date is hopefully next month.

Hello @Arzedby,
Welcome to the forum and we hope that you have many times in your new Pilote.
We were interested to read that you have already handed over your old van. We did the same thing when we ordered our current motorhome and the trade-in we received was excellent. We had finished using the van for the season so the dealer was able to sell it on.
Stef.

...and a warm welcome from Bedfordshire.
There are so many advantages in being a member. Here you can ask questions that can often be answered within minutes, you need never be alone with your worries or problems. If you wish you can attend rallies and meet members face to face and acquire new friends or pick up tips from reading of others experiences. While I can understand that some people do not see themselves as part of a 'Club' scene, being a member of MHF can still offer support friendship and invaluable information from people who know.
I hope that you enjoy all that MHF has to offer.

Alan

Hi all, thanks for all the messages of welcome. We will certainly be using this forum quite a lot going forward I am sure.

lorger: you are bang on about the wait. Only handed over our Avondale a fortnight ago and it already seems like an eternity. April seems a long way off at the moment. To be honest, the van would most likely not have had much use between now and xmas, especially as we are of to Miami and Key West for a couple of weeks, but just not having it on the drive seems so desolate somehow.
