hi everyone we have been looking on here the past week an some of the advice has been agreat help.
we are looking to buy our first motorhome in the next couple of months money is a bit tight so are looking at somthing early 90s any advice on the best place to buy would be apretiated thxs... the adventures will soon begin

I would look at the Hymers at that age very good build quality , the thing you need to check most with any van of that age is that you check it for Damp and the pay load is sufficient, next is layout and size you are comfortable with. Welcome to Fun :welc:

thoughts are heading towards 6 berth hymmers or kontiki on a fiat base as unsure of talbots. have looked around a couple an like the u shaped seating at the rear. have been put off the hymmers a little after raeding on here spares can be expensive

Sorry can't help with your search but plenty of help and advice on here.
Our van is 2000 and I have to say I prefer the low tech of an older van.Good luck in finding the right van for you.

We're looking too. Few for sale on here. I have been looking on EBay- lots on there. Friend bought there MH off Gumtree but had to travel down to central belt to get it - about 150 mile journey.

Scam warning... Be aware there are many scams around, dont part with any money until you have seen the van..
ebay, gumtree etc full of scams.

The rear lounge is more a British style so not found in many foreign built vans.
With an older motorhome be aware of damp and water ingress issues..
