Getting there owner since 2021
We've been looking for a while now and almost took the plunge at last year's MH show for a Jobl Inclusive but decided to wait at the last minute.
Any advice would be greatly welcomed. We're looking for a 6M coach built, must have a rear U shaped lounge. We have decided to cut our budget rather that buy new so looking at spending £25 - £30k.
What's best to look out for and realistically, what could we get for that kind of budget?
We probably would have bought by now but have decided to wait a bit longer due to COVID related unnaturally high prices.

Good idea to buy used. Personally I wouldn't buy from a dealer. Not as easy if you are inexperienced. Any warranty they give won't be worth much. I haven't had a rear lounge MH but like a house it has to feel right for you. The main problem is damp. Get yourself a decent damp meter. Any damp walk away. You should get a decent MH for your budget. Personally I would buy German just in a different league. Welcome to motorhoming I wouldn't take forums too seriously sometimes better to paddle your own canoe.

will you be sleeping in lounge area? If so check comfort once you put all cushions together. Drop down bed with proper mattress every time 👍

Welcome from cold and damp Ciren! (y) ;)
Have a look at the Majestic 120 (based on the Elddis Accordo 120), as it has a U-shaped lounge which makes up into a huge bed, or two singles, and is just under 6m. We had one for nearly 3 years, but changed last year to a Majestic 155 - SWMBO wanted a fixed bed..........

Sorry. Should've said we're looking for a 2 berth ideally. Thanks for the reply though.

As has been mentioned earlier, do check the sleeping arrangements and comfort carefully if seeking a rear lounge that is converted to a bed.

Good luck with your hunt! (y)

It’s a 4 berth but only 2 travel seats . If you are happy with making up the lounge into a bed every night then look at some low profile motorhomes without the overcab bed .

My observations are that people that go for a rear lounge are in the main ex Caravaners and choose familiarity but often regret it later as living in a Motorhome is very different.
Why out of choice would mess about morning and night making a bed out of cushions, laying it up,storing it away, one up both up,one to bed both to bed.

We're new to this whole scene after camping. I wouldn't know which vans were German. Could someone enlighten?

Research is your friend, read lots of info, search through motorhome sites, when finally you can visit and see inside vans, then it all becomes real, good luck...lots of great help on here, that's a great start
