I have just joined the forum having recently bought a (new to us) IH campervan on a Ducato 3.0lt comformatic which feels a bit strange but I guess I'll get used to it!

We are both retired so looking forward to spending time in the van next stop 'find the snow'.

From another IH owner. The comfotmatic the first “auto” we have owned, although driven many. Takes a bit of getting used to but you soon get used to it and realise how much easier it is.
It will be a heavy van so don’t expect great start off speed. Our 630rl weighs in at 3400kg when loaded for a trip, no bike racks or extra stuff stored inside.

Most vans feel strange at first and can take some time for you to become familiar with. once it becomes a home rather than just a van, when you know where you have placed all of your 'bits', wherever you stop it will indeed feel like home. Just give it a little time.
