Just thought it polite to introduce myself :)
We have bought a mercedes 709d as spares or repair last year from some motorbike enthusiasts, its 1992 and was quite rusty, we had the rust taken care of by some really keen coachwork guys near us and have been having lots of fun so far this year getting used to what works inside and what doesn't, condensation issues, no hot water etc, however the Mrs creates some amazing sunday roasts from the kitchen so its not all that bad!!
We want to spend some time working out a new layout for inside when we eventually get to stripping her out and would love some input from people on some space saving additions like bed, toilet, shower, kitchen etc etc, also if there are any persons that are recommended for certain things that we are not able to do then that would be great too.

Looking forward to looking through the forum and chatting soon
Happy Motor-homing

Hey, thank you all for your warm welcomes :)
Been browsing about the site and it seems there are lots of great little finds so far, I hope I can be of some help to in the future
Seems there is a rain storm brewing in the south, better go and make sure the buckets in the van are in the right place:whistle:
