I'm a newbie
Just like to say hi to everyone. Not a motorhomer just yet, picking up our Swift Escape in a couple of weeks time. We've owned caravans for many years so moving over to the dark side.... hopefully the right move. I'm all for it but the wife is 50/50 so we'll see.

Welcome! The only advice I can give is not to try to be too much like a caravanner. So don't worry about buying drive-away awnings just yet or think you need to tow a car so you can get around like you did when you used to tow your engine-less motorhome. You may find you need these things but most don't and for us the pleasure of motorhoming is not being cluttered with lots of "stuff".

Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
Welcome Dave from Wales from Pamela and Derek in Norfolk. Initial thoughts on changing from caravan to motorhome - suddenly there's no car alongside to take the overspill, like garden chairs and table!! The best thing is that when you stop in a lay-by for a cuppa, you don't have to go out in the rain (and it doesn't wobble). Hope it works out for you. (n)
