Interesting. I use CoPilot as backup and iGO Primo as main on an S3 and 4 with no issues. Were you still using the phone as a phone? If i am using either as a sat nav it will be put on flight mode to reduce the chance of calls or txt interfering with my directions. Even now having a dedicated S3 as sat nav i still use flight mode. I am just wondering if the phone uses less processor power in flight mode as its not looking for phone or data signals.

no idea.. I've since gave the S3 to my daughter, have an iPhone and bought a Garmin camper model.. ..

as I said before.. we all have preferences .. I don't like Swiss Army Knife solutions.. and what works of me or you may well be different..

On the subject of where to mount the sat nav, first of all it mustn't obscure the driver's view.

Have a look at my notes as there are a couple of photos, especially for pushing a tub into the cup holder as a base for the suction mount.
