Where are you off to?
Hopefully we are going to the top of Holland, tractor pulling, then through Germany, Austria, down to Venice then back across round France, no route looked at just a vague direction:)

Came back from France this morning through the tunnel. Fastest loading ever. Arrived 40 minutes early for check-in and allocated on an earlier train. 3 brief stops at French immigration booth, UK immigration booth and 'gas turned off' booth - then loaded directly onto the train - no waiting whatsoever. Once on board the train departed! Result. (y)

Back in UK half an hour early at 7.30am BST. Around the M25 in the middle of rush hour without any significant hold-ups and home in Bristol a few minutes after 11am. :)

Have a great trip Chaser and enjoy Austria and Italy (ps watch out for the Italian driving - they are crazy ;))

On this trip we are potentially breaking with tradition. We only usually use aires but I have emailed a couple of acsi sites in lido de jesolo and they say we dont need to book, just turn up and they quote about 20 euros as opposed to 17 in the book, so not too bad as we don't have a current book, so if we get that far we may have a couple of days on a site(y):)

We traveled up yesterday motorway chocer most of the way , anyway it's rained all day today, and today's pulling called off and they are hoping to do both days in one tomorrow, hardly believable, but they are having to tow the trucks containing the tractors on to the field with normal farm tractors, how the hell we get off I don't know.
Anyway gives better weather tomorrow, we shall see.
