Didn' say too much about our latest excursion as it' the first over the water with the old ambulance and waiting to see how it went but it's got us to the tunnel fine, will be in gravelines tonight all being well if anyone else is there, give us a wave.

well we have been having a bit of a wander around the north France countryside, blazing sun, just having a wine at hardlot, free aire, last night on a home from home, dairy farm, 6euros.
don't know why people just race to get south, some lovely little places within 30 miles of Calais.

Totally agree. There's some fantastic places within an hour of Calais

Bottle water, no worry about tap water but bottles give us a bit more capacity and you are sure about it.
We buy in bulk so it' less than a euro a bottle.

Not yet one or two let us out though at junctions, but it' less like an ambulance now close up with the smile on the back and bull on the front.

One thing we have that we never had in the old van, English radio, we are tuned into gold at home on 945 mw but here the same channel plays smooth all day.
