Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Brynn our 11 month old JRT (below) has a smooth coated tan and white Parson Russell Terrier mum and broken coated tri coloured Jack Russell dad. He’s a lovely dog. He’s ended up with his dads markings and coat but his mums straight legs. Which is the best if both IMO. Bought from a working farm local to us . Both mum and dad are working dogs.

Here he is at 8 month above waiting patiently for his ball to be thrown.
He’s turning out to be a fab dog lovely little character .

Long time
Been to see her, just got back, paid a small deposit and collected a crate, going to collect Pippa next Saturday, she had two vacc out of three so will have to sort third out in a few weeks time!
She was the first pup out of mum, mum did it all on her own, she’s got good conformation, slightly taller than the others, lovely coat, clear eyes and she’s very forward.
We met mum in the garden and she’s a sweetie, lovely temperament and a brilliant mum, pups came spilling out of back door-all 4 of them-but Pippa was the only one to look up at us with eye contact and a big smile! She came straight to us and stayed with us the whole time, we both got face licks and kisses.
All the pups are obviously loved, and are well socialised to a point.
Apparently Pip is the most forward of them all, leads the others on and will go off round the garden on her own exploring, she not frightened of odd noises either.
We had tea & biscuits on a low table and Pip decided she wanted to see so put front paws up on table I put her down again, gently, after 4 or 5 tries she just sat there looking longingly at the table no attempt to jump up! Hope that’s a sign she will learn quickly!
Just got to wait now for next wee-end!

Good for you, sounds like you’ve dropped on your feet there.

Out of interest we’re the pups planned or “just happened ”

Can I ask the going rate for a pup these days, seems like prices shot up since we got our Patterdale terrorist 😊

Owner heard that bitches that have had a litter fare better against female health problems!
Next door dog helped out on that one but it was planned!
The ‘old school’ of thought that a bitch should have one season or puppies before she’s neutered but not sure if that’s the way now!
Puppies can be very expensive now anywhere between £500 and 3 up to 5 thousand £s!
but you have to be careful with the lower end prices!
Here is a pile of puppies crashed out after the excitement of meeting us!

Looking at a dry kibble for pup, will soften it a bit to start as that is what she’s used to and apparently loves a bit of cooked chicken meat!
Paul o’Grady has put his name on a dry kibble from Burgess (I think) they call it ‘No Nasties’ think I might try that.
There are so many foods out there it’s difficult to know.

If you say Bubbles to him then he runs out into the garden and waits for you to blow them for him.

Hope you don’t mind me mentioning this, you probably already know that it’s recommended to keep them on the food they are on at the moment at first and make any transitions to something new slow and gradual but I thought I’d mention it in case anyone reading doesn’t know. My last dogs were on skinners which went down well.

I’ve been looking for a puppy, found a Supposedly JRT puppy near by, but…..
Just rang woman and-
I can’t see the mum as she’s lent her to her mother as she’s just lost her dog & feeling down.
Puppies father not in the picture.
She has another litter-of what I don’t know-so will have to meet her in Petrol station, doesn't want me to meet pup just pay and go.
Petrol station is near a Gypsy encampment!
Pup is supposedly chipped but she hasn’t been vaccinated!

Think I will pass on that one, too much dodgy stuff going on!
Please don't fund backyard breeders. Have you considered a rescue dog? There are thousands of dogs being abandoned right now. A lot of those were bought during lockdown and are unwanted now that people are returning to work....or don't need an excuse to go out

This has been covered before, rehoming centre mostly want you to have a garden, so that’s out of the question.
We have seen these puppies and they are definitely not from a “back yard breeder” we have more sense than that. These puppies are from somebody who has let the dog have its first litter which some believe is the best for the bitch.

It's not out of the question at all :) I worked with several rescues in the UK over the years and some will allow you to have a dog without having a garden. Would you like me to contact some on your behalf to see if they can help you? If so, can you tell me what kind of dog you're looking for, please? I'm happy for you to message me, if you prefer :)

@Gazz Kaz+Spag
Was it dog food you put in the Kong to freeze for Spag?
Going to make a ‘snuffle mat’ too for Pip, anything to keep her occupied!
Yes just normal food normally that he leaves when not eaten in one sitting then he is not over fed. We also add something like peanut butter or Jam may work to seal then end then freeze :)

As Manic (my other half) has said this has been covered before!
I have been looking for a dog/pup for nearly a year now, most of the Charities will not let a dog go to a gardenless home, I should know as I’ve had more rejections because of this than anything!
All my previous dogs have been adopted .
This pup is not coming from a ‘backyard breeder’ as you put it, the owner wants her bitch to have one litter before neutering as it helps with the bitches future female health!
I love being able to keep up with people on this forum but I do wish some would not be so down on what some are doing or want to do!

i am fully behind pooches in motorhomes, our dogs loved it, it was so synonymous with our MoHo that we sold the van when our last old pooch died, now we have a new van and the new pooch arrives next week !
