European aires

Hi Dave, You might like ti try this site:-

http://www.bdauncey.eclipse.co.uk/

He shows lots of sites throughout Europe by country, Just click on the country you're going to, Most of them have thumbnails to let you see what it looks like, You can then use Google earth to view the area
I find it almost as good as the UK aires book

When we went to Italy in 2008 we bought a book of Sostas - a bit like the French aires book - was excellent. Can't remember where we bought it from - it may have been Vicarious Books. Well worth the expense anyway!

As well as the books mentioned, Camperstop Europe and the German Bord Atlas include Italy in their listings.

Also look at CC Infos and CamperOnline.it both websites but CCInfos is in French and CamperOnline is in Italian. The former is dedicated to Aires / Sostas whilst the latter caters for all things about motorhomes. Look for the tab towards the top right that will say Sostas (or Parking if you have selected the English option). However, the detail is still in Italian.
