Hobby 750
Old 1998 Hobby 750 We are on a french site at the moment we have had a problem with our cab battery losing charge (new battery) . We have been on mains hook up for a couple of days leisure batteries and cab battery fully charged. However this afternoon noticed cab battery lost charge so plugged in a reserve battery charger to charge it. Since then we now have power coming into the van, there is power to the sockets but nothing works on mains? Fridge air on etc. Have gone off. Checked fuses and circuit breakers. Any advice please we can’t take it anywhere until Monday.

A fuse or an MCB may have blown/tripped. Check the electrical panel. My experience of EHU’s is they sometimes trip because you inadvertently overloaded them, or the campsite electrician switched them off for some maintenance, they need to be reset at the post. Sometimes the reset procedure trips the MCB’s in YOUR vehicle.

Cheers!

You don't make it clear if you are in EHU? Sockets don't work without EHU or generator.

You mention fridge ,Aircon etc ,sounds like you overloaded and as said check your trip switches haven't tripped.
Most French sites are low voltage and low amps. Fridge could be off because of low voltage from site .if you have a multimeter best to check that also.

Thank you for advice. All working again now it was apparently a lose connection in the plug into the van. Thank goodness got aircon back on we are in Tuscany and it is VERY hot.
