Hi guys.
Just got a new to us 1993 dethleffs globetrotter.
It has the calira 804 control panel in dash and electroblok under the dash.
Neither are working though.
Not sure whether to try and fix or would I be better to rip out and re do with split charge etc.
Anyone else been in this situation ?
All help greatly appreciated !

Hi and Welcome....(y)

Thanks for the welcome.
I bought a brand new leisure battery but nothing working from the system that's there.
There were wires disconnected and I reconnected but still have 1 cable by the starter battery that's not connected.
I checked the plug on the electroblok and only getting any voltage from the alternator pin

Electrobloks have a reputation for failed charger side. Easy way out, just fit a caravan battery charger.

Shaudt do a reasonable repair service, you can ask them.

Somewhere on FUN someone posted a UK repairer.

I think my main problem is that when everything is connected up I'm not getting anything on 12v throughout the van. Would the electroblok failing cause this and no readings at control panel ?

You do know there is an on/off 12V switch, usually above the door in a control panel. The panel protests your battery by dropping out at 10V (ish) so you need to establish over 12V at the electroblok power input - you should find 12V from engine and 12V from leisure. ( Actual reading varies 12.5 to 14v ) with 12V a flat battery.

You'd help us help you if you post decent pictures of the control panel and electroblok.

Just found this...
http://manuals.group/results.php?search=CALIRA BORD CONTROL 804

There's also a battery isolator switch on most Elektrobloks which cuts off everything (12V) to the habitation side of the van.

This is what I have on board.
Connected everything up this evening.
Both battery meters work ok.
Both tank meters seem ok.
12v lights work ok.
Fridge doesn't on 12v but need to check fridge first.
Toilet doesn't work either but needs to be checked.
Leisure battery not getting a charge while engine is running though .
Also green light on control board stays on until I disconnect the leisure battery.
