We have a little 16" Avtex tv, (husband didn't want one at all so its a compromise!).. First of all we are both complete numpties when it comes to setting up stuff like this, we don't have a clue, it was a nightmare getting a new tv for indoors, let alone for the van! So, we have managed to get it fixed onto the bracket, and plugged into the 12 volt ... and that's as far as we have got because we don't seem to have an aerial lead and wouldn't know where to put it either ... the booklet that came with it is not a lot of help, has anyone got t

he same tv and can give us a clue as to what to do next? The numbers on the diagram don't seem to match up, 4 is for headphones, and 5 the rf input, with a pic of headphones?

You will need to buy a short coaxial cable. One end plugs into the tv and the other into the hole beside your 12v socket on the wall.

See this image , on your diagram numbers 14 and 16 would be coax tv and satellite

One easy solution is to use a firestick, then you don't need either of the above

Is there an aerial socket under the wall cupboard, just above the TV bracket?

Is there an aerial socket under the wall cupboard, just above the TV bracket....searching the Elddis spec for CV20, I assume that's what you have, I cannot find any reference for TV

We bought the 16 inch TV a couple of years ago, eventually avtex admitted some of their 16inch tvs had a different processor and didn't work well in motorhomes, we changed to the 18inch model, and it was brilliant. Todds, who were excellent tried both sizes for us and it was quite clearly a problem with the smaller tv
