I was looking at putting a roof box on my van which is a Fiat Ducato 2004 hightop. It is a gutterles roof so I bought some bars etc from Halfords. When I came to fit them I have found that the buttons on the roof that the bars attach to, are taken on one side by the Fiamma awning.
Has anyone any ideas how to get around this without taking off the Fiamma awning? I carry bikes on the back so a back box is out of the question.

Since 2005! 2000+ nights so far...
I've got bikes and a box slung on the back of mine. Details (and plans) on my site, but in effect its a tow-bar mounted bak-rak with a custrom box held on, and normal fiama bike rack over rear door. So its not impossible.

However no idea about your hole question! Sorry

Can't remember ;)
Hi I simply stuck & screwed it onto the roof with tec bolts - same as they use on building cladding :thumb: - no good if you are intending to take it on and off or afraid to drill / screw the roof :winky: Cost me around 4 mpg :Eeek::Eeek::RollEyes:
