The lighting in our new motorhome(LUNER ROADSTAR) is vey drab, reminds us of a single lightbulb hanging in the middle of the lounge like in the 60's.

Question is can I change just the bulbs to LED or will I have to change all the complete units. They all have their own individual on/off switches. I also remember something about a reverse polarity.

If units have to be changed and the polarity thing comes into play is it easy for this idiot to do or do I call in the tech guys

LED's wont give any more real light...only a different colour light.
either a stark blue-ish white or a softer yellow-ish white

rev polarity isnt usually a problem with better quality LED lamps, they aren't usually polarised, but if it doesn't work just turn the bulb round, unless its the flat plate type which will mean removing the light and reversing the two wires feeding it.

We changed all our bulbs to LED.
Hubby also added strips of LED lighting behind some panels and under the eves, ours is blue but avaliable in lots of colours, it was very cheap on ebay and easy to fit. Gves a bit of mood lighting!
