Help with Huawei Compact + WiFi (1 Viewer)

Help , has anybody any idea of how I can sort a problem I have with my Huawei Compact + WiFi.

I have just purchased a Popit Sim Card and activated it on the Popit website.

As soon as I place the sim in my Compact it states “ insert Sim and restart”. Tried loads of times and it continues to state the same message. Has anybody suggestions of how I sort this out.

You may have to go onto the Huawei app and change the APN

Been a few reports of when it won't work in the mifi put it in a phone and make sure it works then put it back in the mifi.

Also you need to put it in the phone before leaving the UK.

I believe it might need to be used first in a phone to register it, then can go to mifi..

Thanks everybody for your help. I have put in my mobile phone to check that it works and it does. BUT it still states put sim and start again!

Popit informs me that I will have to put in APN if I knew how!

You need to go into settings on the mifi, it'll be something like 192.168.1.1 or if you have the Huawei app you may be able to do it there
