At present at the COE in France and off to Belguim.

Woke up this morning 8am to find that the electricity had switched itself off, as it had gone to low. Have checked to see if anything had been left on which would use all that power but nothing. The sun is nice and bright and soon the solar panels had it to full power. Yesterday while travelling here the batteries were fully charged.

What next?

If I go to some one like Norauto can they check the batteries , as when I arrive the batteries will fully charged?

Batteries have to be fully charged to be tested.

If they are flat enough to switch off its going to take many hours of solar to charge them fully at this time of year unless you have more solar panels than roof.
What you're seeing after a couple of hours is the solar charge voltage, not the battery voltage.

If they show fully charged after such a short time, I'd suggest that they have lost capacity.
Time to replace them.
