Good morning all.
A friend recently bought a Beninar Motorhome through a Broker. I think the Model is a STE 6000
There is this gadget fixed above the Hab door, which he has no idea as to what its functon, nor its purpose is. When you pull it off its bracket, you find it is connected to a long cable that disappears behind the panneling into God knows where. I will attach two photos of the gadget. If anyone of you experienced funsters can shed a light as to its purpose and function, he would be very grateful.
Many thanks. BillyS5

Googling any code printed on a device usually gives a clue - but this one has Google stumped. Everything from a digital thermometer to a steel wheel via a WW2 German helmet!

Looks to me like some form of transponder for something or maybe a thermostat. I thought maybe a mifi but the attached cable wouldn't be necessary then.

Anyone else have a clue?

Thanks for your replies so far. How do I give you the thank you thumbs up?

Thank you all for your prompt replies. I will tell my friend.
Funsters to the rescue once again.

It would be going off constantly on our current trip in France if we had one. Can't work out if the cause is too much wine, too many baguettes or too much garlic.

A scientific test would involve cutting each of these out in turn to see what happens.

But sod that idea. We just open the windows if necessary. :)
