Help please placing classified advert on ebay (1 Viewer)

Help much appreciated as this is my first time selling as a classified on ebay'. These are my problems - it doesn't say classified, it says fixed price. is this correct?
It costs £10 to list not the £17 people have discussed on here.
When I preview before posting it displays my fixed price then says 'make an offer' underneath.
Am I on the wrong page???

Yes fixed price is same sort of thing , make an offer IIRC you can set up to auto decline as well

No, you're in the wrong bit! You're doing a normal listing where you have the choice of auction or a fixed price for your item - you need to alter it to say classified ad otherwise you'll end up paying a lot if final selling price fees.

Just a thought - you are in the right section aren't you - you need to be in Ebay Motors, not the general Ebay site for selling stuff:

Then you should get this option to select Classified ad:

You're in the wrong bit - follow my link above and go into Ebay motors - you'll have to start your listing again.

If you are using an app to access eBay I don't think the option is available.
Could be wrong but I can't find the classified listing format either on my phone
Try using a PC.

Minxsy I think that's the wrong link. It's customer service. When I go to ebay motors it doesn't give me a classified option, I am on a PC

Managed to find it. Thanks. Now just got to do it. Is it ok to put my phone number in description do you think? Was going to use home phone so we can switch off bell and just have the voice mail.

Yes you can as you've already paid for your advert so Ebay have nothing to lose by you selling 'off Ebay' as that is the point of a classified ad anyway, you can put your email too if you want (just set one up specifically for this advert though and get the responses automatically forwarded to your usual one so you don't have to keep checking it separately).
