We’ve just started to load everything ready for a trip away and when Glynn put some water in to check boiler and pump were okay we discovered there is a leak from where you drain the boiler down when emptying the system. Does anybody know the correct term for this part as we’ve tried looking on the internet to find a replacement and can’t find it. In the picture it’s the blue valve. I assumed it would be a boiler drain valve but that hasn’t yielded any results.

Looks like it might just be an isolation valve perhaps.

Are you sure it’s the blue valve that’s leaking and not the black boiler frost dump?

Those valves are not normally a problem if it is leaking might be worth taking it out and soaking in hot vinegar in case its a calcium build if not here is a new one.

If it is not coming from there it could be the air relese valve.
