Help on best websites for motorhome sites

We have just brought a motorhome and wondered what the best web site is to find sites close to places within reasonable walking distance.

Depends on whether you are looking for ‘off grid‘ camping, searchforsites is good for showing camp sites and off grid.
Oh’ and Welcome, don’t forget to ask Jim for window stickers so we can recognise you on your travels.

We mostly use tripadvisor which not only gives you details of the campsites and reviews but also gives you a flavour of what’s in the local area.
Once we’ve found a place we book direct with the site.

We would endorse searchforsites.co.uk as the most user-friendly and comprehensive source. It contains a wealth of information covering both the UK and continental sites. Happy travelling!

Hi Chris and welcome. You could also have a look at Youtube as there are quite a few motorhome owners who do Video logs of their travels and adventures. :cheers:

Another method, put a shout out on this site and mention areas you would like to visit, you will get the brilliant advice of seasoned Fun members on what sites to visit. Search For Sites and CamperContact seem to be popular with visitors we see at our CL.
