Hope someone can help.
Electrics not working when plugged into mains power.
We have checked all the fuses and they are all fine.
Campsite said the problem is with us.
What else could be wrong?
Been raining constantly for 3 days.
The trip hadn't tripped at all, so no problem with the trip.
Stumped as to what it could be.
Help please

Have you found the trip inside your motorhome, it should have a test button to push to trip and then reset it.

Can you try another EHU point? If the circuit breakers haven't tripped in the MH then you should have power at your sockets. If all is good with the EHU check the lead, a wire might have been pulled out or broken. Borrow someone else's EHU lead to check.

Ask the warden to plug his tester into the end of hookup lead before you put it into the van that way you will no if the cable is faulty

Remember
When you reset The circuit breaker the switch should be in the UP position.

Not down as a normal light switch

I suspect it's the lead
Unscrew the ends and see if any wire has come loose

Now try your lead from your van to the neighbours hook up point. That will then eliminate and tell you if it's the lead or the hook up on your pitch.
Sounds a crap campsite not to have given you the option to try another.

Had similar problem and it turned out to be my cable - just check all the wiring to the pins.

Thanks everyone for the help. It must be campsite or our lead as it worked with next doors power in their plug in.
Could you try using your cable in your neighbors EHU ( without anyone seeing)
That would prove if the cable is faulty

An EHU lead can also be used to whip people with. Give it a try. :)

You can always get wet inside Lesley or go for a rooby murray. ;)

Glad to know your juice is sorted and no doubt you've got the heating back on. Been reading on here that there have been lots of electricity interruptions up and down the Costa's

Ger a vest on. Regards to Alan
