HELP - Neta Dome Satellite System Experience (1 Viewer)

We are now in Italy but have experienced problems with signal through most of France. Don't know if we have a problem with the system or just lack of signal - other English dish users seem to get TV signals fine.

We have Sky box in circuit and when we attempt to set the system up the dome seems to lock in, however the Signal Test on Sky shows not locked in, or signal strength or quality and when looking at a menu Sky message 29 appears - "No signal received".

Has anyone else experienced any problems with the system, or could it be because we are in northern Italy???

You are more than likely locking on to astra 1, sky box wont decode from that one a free sat box may

On the Services/Signal page, the network id needs to be 0002 for Astra 2 (Sky). Your Sky box will 'sometimes' lock onto other satellites (Astra 1 or Hotbird) but cannot (without some serious fiddling) decode these channels.

If you are on 0001 or something else you are not locked into Astra 2.
