we have recently purchased an Autotrail Frontier Navajo 2010 model, and have hit a problem.
Behind the drivers seat on the floor is an electrical box with fuses called EM50 Interface Adaptor with a lit red light.
All the fuses seem okay however now all of a sudden when the ignition key is turned on the engine won't start and the EM50 box bleeps loudly.
The cab battery shows well charged with multimeter.
Can anyone advise why this might be happening please.

Thank you, we think it might be that we will try and contact the dealer for advice, however it would be nice to hear from someone with or had the same outfit if possible.

you have checked the fuses?

the em50 is like a split charge interface and are known to burn out and short circuit

Thank you all so much for your help and advice. We ended up calling Mayday they came out and jump started us and told us to take it for a good run or leave it running on the drive for about an hour.
We done both, latterly we stopped for a call of nature and it would not start again:cry: so had to call them again , another hour lost, they came out and started it again so we could get back home, but told us to get it checked out by a auto electrical supplier as it really needs a good battery to start and they believed it was a cell that had gone down in the battery and although the motorhome is fitted with a solar panel and the battery shows 12.7 as soon as we turned it over being a 3 litre engine it dropped like a stone to 10.7. They said it is important to get a battery from a specialist as a motorhome doesn't get used like a commercial van so the battery needs to cope with irregular usage.
We hope this will be the cure and have let you all know in case any one has a similar problem in the future.
